Like all medications, DrHair Minoxidil 5% Formula can cause side effects. These usually disappear as your body gets used to the treatment or, failing that, when you stop taking it. Greater absorption occurs when skin is inflamed or broken, so in this case, the formula is not recommended.
The main concern with Minoxidil use in pregnancy is its systemic absorption, which could potentially affect the developing foetus. Whilst the formula is topically applied systemic absorption is low it would be advised not to use the formula during this period.
